Support and Defend the Constitution

We just received the following notification about an event sponsored by our friends in Rowan County and would like to encourage everyone who can to support and participate in this event. It takes a lot to bring this caliber of speaker in for an event, so please help with the most generous donation amount you can afford.

Rowan county Oath Keepers rally

We are hosting a “SUPPORT AND DEFEND” rally in Rowan County, North Carolina.

Military members ( both active and veterans), police officers and others who have sworn to protect the Constitution will be participating in a reaffirmation ceremony.

The Date: 29 March 2015

Kriss Ann Hall ( http://krisannehall.com/) will be participating. We are trying to get Sheriff Mack ( http://cspoa.org/) and Wild Bill for America ( http://www.wildbillforamerica.com/) to also participate with us.

The funds we raise will help defer the travel and lodging of our special guest. We will also have a patriotic band and other items that we will need to help cover.

We would love to have you join us.

Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of current and formerly serving military, police, and first responders who pledge to fulfill the oath all military and police take to “defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

The oath, mandated by Article VI of the Constitution itself, is to the Constitution, not to the politicians. Oath Keepers declare they will not obey unconstitutional orders, such as orders to disarm the American people, to conduct warrantless searches, or to detain Americans as “enemy combatants” in violation of their ancient right to jury trial. See the Oath Keepers Declaration of Orders We Will Not Obey for details.

Oath Keepers reaches out to both current serving and veterans to remind them of their oaths, to teach them more about the Constitution they swore to defend, and to inspire them to defend it.

Our motto is “Not on our watch!”

* First responders includes fire-fighters, search and rescue, EMTs, disaster relief, and similar emergency personnel. While not all such personnel take an oath to the Constitution, many do, and all are a critical audience for our mission.
